Ballet In The Park
Dear Knittah,
Last Thursday Noricum, H & family, and I went to Ballet In The Park. This is an annual event in Winnipeg put on by the RWB (Royal Winnipeg Ballet) professional school. Most of the ballerinas are from the school, but some are also from the RWB itself. It's quite enjoyable! Thankfully there were no mosquitoes, although there was some sort of tiny hopping bug that was present in sufficient quantity to be a nuisance.
It was also nice that I got some admiring comments from the lady sitting next to us.
Love,
Swatchy
PS: Noricum is getting worse at getting both me and the other subject matter in the same photo frame.
PPS: Noricum also recorded a tiny clip of the ballet with her camera. Well, she recorded several, but this was the most interesting.

Dear Swatchy,
I actually really like that picture of the ballerinas with you peeking into the shot.
Did I ever tell you that I was a ballerina once? Well, when I was five years old anyway. I took ballet lessons for several years back then, and dreamed of being a real ballerina with a tutu and everything!
If I am ever well enough, I would definitely take ballet lessons.
Love, Knittah
I took ballet lessons when I was really young... I think I was at most three. I had a really cute tutu that was black with white ruffly stuff, and a headband with black cat ears. The outfit also included white underwear with a lacy ruffly spiral on the butt.
I tried again when I was in grade five or six, but the class I took was as boring as all get-out. (I did not have a high tolerance for boring at that age.)
I do enjoy watching ballet, though. ;)
Hi Swatchy!
If it's any consolation, Eliza has the same problem with the photos. I'm trying not to take it personally...
You're lucky though--Eliza never takes me out to see anything cultural. And I'm getting tired of hiking. Can I come out with you and Noricum instead?!

Hi Swatchy C!
You're certainly welcome to join us, but it's a bit of a commute. ;) Your hiking in Scotland sounds fascinating, though... Noricum and I would love to be there with you!
Love,
Swatchy
Hahahahaha - ruffles on your butt! Only a three year old can pull that off.
Very true!
