Dear Nori,

Last night we went to Knit New York while J was in French lessons. We knit with a friendly lady, Jill, for a while. When she had to leave, we joined another pair of ladies whose names escape me.

We were grumped at by an employee before we left, which put Noricum in a bad mood. She's probably blowing things out of proportion... she's feeling a bit stressed right now due to an upcoming workshop where she has to present, and will also be meeting with her advisor. She feels she hasn't made enough progress on her dissertation, which is probably true, but stressing over it really doesn't help. She's having trouble listening to reason. I'll just give her some time. Perhaps she'll feel better Saturday after her talk, or Sunday after the workshop is over, and she's headed back to J's.
