I don't know either, anonymous. But LJ must have a FAQ about that. However, the first thing you want to do is right-click on the button and save it to your desktop. You want to be sure you upload your own copy to flickr or LJ or whatever, instead of piggybacking off our bandwidth (as a lot of people do on the internets *grin*)
Well, this image is on blogger, which is free, so we aren't actually being charged for bandwidth. However, images stored on blogger are only visible from blogger pages, so unless you want a little blue question mark, you'll need to save your own copy elsewhere anyway. ;)

Yeah, I'm not sure why mine looks pixelated, because the original does not. I'll have to wait for web-expert husband to help out.
Perhaps because here the button is "blown up" a bit? Clicking on it links to a smaller image.
do you guys know if you can put a button on a livejournal page... or how? i'm a novice button-placer!

I'm afraid I haven't a clue how to add buttons to LiveJournal... I haven't played with customizing templates there.
