This is the beginning of Swatchy. The flash kind of washed out his head. He is being knit from the top down on size 1 needles with fingering weight yarn. His head is mint green, the body will be variegated brown, his pants blue and his shoes black. For all but the body, I used Patons Grace. For the body I used some leftover Trekking XXL. The body starts with knit 1, purl 1 ribbing, and then increases and switches to seed stitch. Everything else is done in stockinette.

Swatchy's looking good so far, this looks like it'll be a fun blog to watch.
After Swatchy explores Rhinebeck and Canada, any chance he'll want to take some shorter trips elsewhere? Like, say, Indiana?
